Developmental Educator, Behaviour Practitioner & Director

Michelle is a qualified Developmental Educator and Behaviour Practitioner, and the Director of DMD Therapeutic and Behavioural Consulting.

She has over a decade of experience supporting individuals with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and their support networks. She is deeply committed to strengthening the skills, confidence, and knowledge of both individuals and the teams around them.

Michelle also brings lived experience as the mother of a young man with DMD and has been part of the neuromuscular community for 18 years.

Developmental Educator & Special Education Teacher

Thomas is a qualified Developmental Educator and Special Education Teacher.

With experience at DMD Therapeutic and Behavioural Consulting as a placement student and Therapy Assistant, Thomas brings a strong foundation in therapeutic and behavioural support, and the neuromuscular community.

His approach focuses on understanding behaviour and delivering therapeutic and behavioural supports, including capacity building, training, consultation, and coordinating community groups.

Therapy Assistant

Rhiannon is a third-year student completing a Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education.

Working under the supervision of our qualified Developmental Educators, Rhiannon provides one-to-one face-to-face support and plays an active role in coordinating our social group, Spin Kids. She brings warmth, organisation, and enthusiasm to both individual sessions and group programs.

A part of the disability sector since 2021, Rhiannon’s well-developed experience has shaped her practical skills and deepened her commitment to person-centred, strengths-based practice.
